A 3ct asscher cut moissanite engagement ring in S925 sterling silver. The asscher cut is an octagonal step-cut — a square outline with cropped corners and parallel step-faceting similar to the emerald cut.
The center stone is 3ct asscher cut moissanite, D color and VVS1 clarity. Asscher cut produces a distinctive hall-of-mirrors effect through its concentric square facets. The cropped corners of the asscher differentiate it from the sharp corners of princess cut; the step faceting differentiates it from the round brilliant. At D color and VVS1, the interior of the stone is completely transparent in the step-cut style. Sizes US 5 through 9.
