VVS1 is visually flawless, with inclusions so minor they are nearly impossible to see under 10x magnification. These are the actual grades on every stone we sell. Not marketing language — measurable grading standards that apply without exception across every product in the catalogue.
Moissanite is a lab-created gemstone made of silicon carbide. Its refractive index is 2.65, compared to diamond's 2.42. The higher refractive index produces more fire — more of the rainbow-effect light dispersion that makes a stone visually striking. In practical terms: a moissanite of the same carat weight and cut as a diamond produces more brilliance in natural light. Not less. More.
Moissanite is not a diamond alternative in the sense of being a substitute or imitation.
