Marquise cut moissanite rings — designs where the elongated pointed shape creates a distinct visual effect that differs from every other cut in the collection.
The marquise cut is the longest cut relative to its carat weight, which produces two effects simultaneously. First, the visible surface area appears larger than other cuts of the same weight because the stone covers more linear distance across the finger. Second, the pointed ends create a visual extension effect that makes the finger appear longer and more slender.
In a three-stone marquise arrangement — three marquise stones side by side — both effects are amplified. The combined elongation of three stones creates a ring with a wide, dramatic light signature that covers the full width of the finger.
The marquise requires V-tip prong settings at the pointed ends to protect the most vulnerable parts of the stone. These prongs hold the points securely while keeping the stone's face fully visible. Moissanite's refractive index of 2.65 produces more fire than diamond from the marquise's elongated facet arrangement — the pointed shape catches and returns light from angles that a round stone can't access.
Every marquise moissanite in this collection is D color and VVS1 clarity, lab-created and conflict-free.
