Halo moissanite rings — 8 designs where a ring of smaller accent stones surrounds the center stone, increasing its apparent size and extending its light return outward.
The halo setting has one straightforward mechanical effect: it makes the center stone look larger. The ring of small pavé or micro-pavé stones that surrounds the center creates a continuous band of light around the stone's perimeter, visually blending with the center to create the impression of a larger total footprint. A 1ct halo ring reads closer to the visual size of a 1.5ct solitaire.
The secondary effect is more total light. Center stone plus halo produces more combined fire than a center stone alone — the small stones return light from the band simultaneously with the center stone returning light from above. In moissanite, where the refractive index is already 2.65 versus diamond's 2.42, this combination is particularly effective.
Halo designs in this collection include round brilliant halos around round, oval, and cushion center stones. Some designs feature a double halo — a second ring of stones outside the first — for additional coverage. Carat weights range from 2ct to 4.75cttw across the halo designs.
Every stone in every halo ring is D color and VVS1 clarity, lab-created and conflict-free. The same standard applies to the center stone and to every small stone in the halo itself.
